Bayern Munich want to sign English winger Jamie Gittens from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, according to new information from Sky in Germany.
The 20-year-old is under contract with Dortmund until 2028, but Bayern are monitoring his situation closely and are eyeing a summer move for the former Man City youngster, with a number of Premier League sides also interested.
Vincent Kompany and sporting director Max Eberl are said to be "raving" about Gittens behind the scenes, which was only strengthened after his performance in the two sides' 1-1 draw at the end of November, in which he scored a superb goal.
Bayern also retain an interest in Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz, who has yet to sign a new contract with his current club, but are also on the lookout for other options in wide areas.
Leroy Sane's contract expires in the summer and looks unlikely to be renewed, while Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry are both understood to be available for sale.
Bayern have not yet held talks with Dortmund about Gittens, as Eberl is currently focussing on numerous contract extensions. However, Gittens has already been informed of the interest.
The England U21 international has nine goals and four assists in all competitions so far this season.
