Borussia Dortmund defeated Monterrey 2-1 to advance to the Club World Cup quarter-final against Real Madrid.
However, the Bellingham brothers will not face each other on Saturday evening in New Jersey because Jobe is suspended.
Jobe, the former Sunderland midfielder, will miss the match after receiving his second yellow card of the tournament in the 28th minute, ending hopes of a reunion with his brother Jude.
Dortmund's victory was thanks to Serhou Guirassy's brace.
Guirassy scored the first goal for the German side with a right-footed shot from 12 yards in the 14th minute, assisted by Karim Adeyemi.
Adeyemi provided the assist again less than 10 minutes later, after breaking free and delivering a square pass to Guirassy.
