Man City midfielder Rodri has spoken about the importance of approaching his ACL injury with a positive mindset.
The Ballon d'Or winner, 28, has not played since City's 2-2 draw with Arsenal on September 22, and is not expected to play again this season.
Speaking at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday, he said: "It's part of life, injuries. We are exposed to these kinds of things.
"But I'm a very positive guy in the sense that I take it for what it is.
"I always thank God for everything and, in these kinds of moments, try to be positive and do all of the stuff you are not used to doing, like coming here [to the Super Bowl], spending more time with your family and why not try to improve in other parts of your body, work on that and come back stronger.
"I don't deal with it good [watching from the sidelines]!
"You are more nervous and you cannot control what's going on, but I try to support my team from the outside, give them my vision and help them."
