Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Inter Milan, thinks Arsenal is one of the best teams in Europe ahead of tomorrow's UEFA Champions League match.
In a pre-match interview with Sky Sports, Inzaghi had nothing but praise for the Gunners but also called for caution, according to FCInter1908.
The Giuseppe Meazza Stadium is the setting for Wednesday's highly anticipated match. Both teams are performing well in European competitions.
On a related note, Inter Milan has won its last two games, against Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys, after drawing 0-0 with Manchester City. Simone Inzaghi's team didn't concede a goal in either game. This makes them one of only five teams in the UEFA Champions League this season not to have conceded a goal.
Arsenal are also in this group. After a 0-0 draw with Atalanta, they beat Paris Saint-Germain and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Luckily for Inter, the Gunners have been having a bit of a rough patch before this tournament. But Inter coach Simone Inzaghi gave Arsenal a bit of a compliment before the UEFA meeting, saying that they shouldn't be underestimated. Simone Inzaghi was quick to point out that they shouldn't get too comfortable. Inter shouldn't take Arsenal lightly, given their recent slump.
"In previous years, after the first three games, you could outline the situation in the group stage," he said."Now, everything is more difficult.Without calculating, tomorrow we will face one of the strongest teams in Europe and we need a great version of Inter.‘
"Compared to Manchester City, Arteta has proved himself to be a top coach.’
"Arsenal is very recognizable, they are a technical and fast team, good in both the defensive and offensive phases. "We have to play an important game. ”
Inter and Arsenal last met in the Champions League more than two decades ago. They finished tied for first place in the group stage in the 2003/24 season.Interestingly, both teams won their away games that year, with Arsenal avenging a 0-3 home defeat with a 5-1 win at the San Siro.
