Takehiro Tomiyasu is expected to leave Arsenal through the mutual termination of his contract, according to Romano.
The Japanese defender has one year left on his current deal, plus an option for an additional year.
However, Tomiyasu is not expected to return from his long-term knee injury until later in the year.
He played only six minutes of football for Arsenal last season, and the injury required surgery.
Tomiyasu signed for the club from Bologna in 2021 and has made 84 appearances for the Gunners.
