Havertz opened the scoring on Tuesday night before Bukayo Saka added a second goal to the team's tally as the Gunners comfortably beat Ligue 1 giants PSG in the Champions League. The German striker now has five goals to his name this season including three in the Premier League.
After the convincing performance against the French champions at home, manager Arteta heaped praise on Havertz as he described his performance in the current campaign as 'unbelievable'. The Spanish manager spoke highly of the player's work ethic and hailed him as one of the most important members of the Arsenal squad.
Speaking to reporters, the 42-year-old said, "He has been unbelievable. His football brain, the way he understands space, his timing, he brings people together. His work ethic is incredible and now he is a real threat around the box. He is one of our main players at the moment."
The North London club will be next seen in action on Saturday as they aim to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to seven matches against Southampton at home.
