Erling Haaland labelled 'classless' for apparent X-rated jibe at Arsenal debutant Myles Lewis-Skelly

The Norwegian striker, who scored his 100th goal for Manchester City in the first half, was heavily involved as players from both teams clashed towards the end of Sunday's classic. Arsenal, down to 10 men following Leandro Trossard's controversial red card, thought they were going to escape with all three points, but John Stones bundled home a dramatic equaliser in the 98th minute to secure a point for Pep Guardiola's side.
Haaland crashed straight into Thomas Partey after Arsenal's kick-off following Stones' goal, prompting a sea of red shirts to surround the striker. One of those was 17-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly, who got in Haaland's face. The Man City star appeared to let Lewis-Skelly know exactly what he thought by asking him: "Who the f*ck are you?"
"That’s the very reason, Haaland will never earn my respect," wrote @GoonerRaunak on X.
Meanwhile, @sanders8411 added: "He's a cry baby and he picked on a 17 year old."
@aviv_lavi called the City striker "classless", and @FBTactian101 said: "Apart from that goal, this guy dropped the biggest stinker I have ever seen from a professional footballer. Even with 10 men we had this guy pocketed. Mbappe is so clear man."
Lewis-Skelly's frustrations with Haaland were likely fueled by the striker throwing the ball at the back of Gabriel's head after Stones scored - an act that @Gunnersc0m described as "incredibly disrespectful".
Reacting to that, @Orbinho wrote: "Haaland getting the ball out of the net and throwing it at Gabriel's head. What a petty twat that man is."
@ArsenalReport added: "Haaland throwing the ball at the back of Gabriel’s head to celebrate the goal, this is apparently ok by the refs and VAR."
We're already counting down the days until the two teams do it all over again on February 1; there's no doubt Arsenal players will be desperate to get one over Haaland after the striker's antics on Sunday.
Next up for City is a home clash with Watford in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, while Arsenal host Bolton in the same competition on Wednesday.
