Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has acclaimed Paris Saint-Germain as the premier team in the world.
PSG advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIFA Club World Cup with a convincing 4-0 victory over Inter Miami on Sunday.
Under Luis Enrique, PSG entered the tournament in the United States after securing a historic treble this season: Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and the Champions League.
During his appearance on La Casa del Kun show, Mac Allister said, "It's the best team in the world. They are in exceptional form. They have everything. They are highly disciplined, play brilliantly with the ball, and every player contributes. For me, they are the best."
Liverpool was eliminated by PSG in the Champions League round of 16, losing 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 aggregate draw.
Mac Allister, who started in both matches against the French club, was particularly impressed by PSG's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Georgian forward, who joined PSG from Napoli for €70 million ($81.9 million) in January, has scored one goal and provided two assists in four Club World Cup appearances.
"All PSG players are excellent," he said. "No. 7, who previously played for Napoli, is a standout star."
PSG will face Bayern Munich in the Club World Cup quarterfinals on Saturday.
