With Thomas Frank set to be confirmed as the new Tottenham boss, attention shifts to potential incoming transfers. Although Spurs finished 17th, their Europa League success and return to the Champions League will draw new signings. Combined with the club's excellent facilities and the opportunity to work under a manager of Frank's caliber, Tottenham should have no major issues attracting top talent.

However, the club must adjust its transfer priorities. Tottenham cannot afford to chase potential alone and should focus on experienced players to compete effectively across multiple competitions next season. Reports of targeting players aged 23 to 29 are a positive move in this direction.

One reported target for Tottenham is Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo. The Ghana international had an outstanding season, emerging from Dominic Solanke's shadow to record 11 goals and five assists, helping Andoni Iraola lead Bournemouth to a ninth-place finish.

Bournemouth's strong campaign has its drawbacks, however. Dean Huijsen has already joined Real Madrid, Milos Kerkez is headed to Liverpool, and Illia Zabarnyi is being eyed by Champions League winners PSG. Meanwhile, Tottenham isn't the only club interested in Semenyo, as Manchester United and Liverpool are also pursuing the 25-year-old.

Interest from these elite clubs is justified. Semenyo achieved a WhoScored rating of 7.20, ranking second among left wingers in the Premier League last season, just behind Liverpool's Luis Diaz at 7.21, who is reportedly on Barcelona's radar.

Semenyo excelled with his speed on the flanks, completing 69 successful dribbles to finish third in the league. His explosive style, combined with his ability to use both feet, makes him an unpredictable and appealing option for potential suitors.

This profile fits well with Liverpool and Frank's Tottenham, where the Dane is expected to maintain a 4-2-3-1 system. Yet, Semenyo's versatility across the front line explains Manchester United's interest too. Despite signings like Matheus Cunha and pursuits of Bryan Mbeumo and Viktor Gyokeres, United's attack needs reinforcement after a lackluster scoring season, and Semenyo could thrive as a main striker or in one of the two number 10 roles in Ruben Amorim's 3-4-2-1 setup.

Importantly, Semenyo is proactive in taking shots, addressing a key weakness for both United and Tottenham, who ranked seventh (13.9 shots per game) and 11th (13.1 shots per game) respectively. Semenyo ended the season third in total shots with 125, including 108 from open play, second only to Mohamed Salah's 112.

Furthermore, Semenyo is a diligent defender off the ball, playing a vital role in Iraola's high-pressing strategy that led to Bournemouth winning possession in the attacking third more times (216) than any other team. Semenyo led all players with 37 such recoveries.
