Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has praised the performance of captain Martin Odegaard during the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
The midfielder picked up an ankle injury while away on international duty with Norway back in September but made his return to the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
He played the full 90 minutes during the draw and his manager was full of praise for him after the game, despite the frustrating result.
"I don’t know another player that is capable of [playing 90 minutes to that standard] after six weeks out," Arteta said.
"He had a day-and-a-half to be able to do that. Just how physically and mentally connected he was with the team it was unbelievable."
Asked if Odegaard would be going away with the national team after only returning from injury in the last week, Arteta added: "I haven’t spoken to the player yet."
