Brentford is preparing to usher in the Keith Andrews era with the signing of a promising young midfielder on a five-year deal, as reported by Sky Sports.
The club is finalizing the transfer of Antoni Milambo from Feyenoord.
Brentford has agreed to a deal that includes an initial £15.4 million (€18 million) payment, along with up to £3.4 million (€4 million) in potential add-ons.
The 20-year-old central midfielder has netted four goals in 40 appearances in the Eredivisie.
He is not intended as a replacement for Christian Norgaard, who is heading to Arsenal, but rather as the attack-oriented No. 8 the club has been seeking.
Milambo has already passed his medical examination.
