Celtic will face their second pre-season match on Tuesday against League of Ireland side Cork City at Turner's Cross.

The home team, Cork City, will resume their domestic league on the following Friday, while Celtic enter this fixture as champions of the Scottish Premiership for the 2024-25 season, once again surpassing rivals Rangers.

Cork City sit at the bottom of the table with 15 points, trailing automatic safety by 12 points and two places, with 13 games remaining, putting them at risk of relegation.

The club suffered a 3-1 defeat to Shelbourne on July 4 and have managed only three goals in their last five matches.

Manager Gerard Nash, appointed in May, has not secured a win in his seven games in charge, recording four losses.

Cork City have not won in their last 12 fixtures, losing seven times and conceding at least two goals in seven of those games.

The team, known as the Rebel Army, are winless in their last six away games, drawing four of them.

Celtic's title win marks their 13th in 14 seasons, leveling their total at 55 with Rangers for the Scottish top-flight crowns.

The Hoops scored 112 league goals in the 2024-25 season, the second-highest since 1937-38.

Under manager Brendan Rodgers, Celtic secured a 1-0 victory over Queen's Park on July 4, with Johnny Kenny scoring in the 19th minute.

Prior to that win, Celtic had one loss and one draw, but they triumphed in five of their final eight competitive matches last season.

Celtic boast a strong away record, winning four of their last six away games—including on July 4—and losing only once in that span.

Possible starting lineup for Cork City:

Moloney; Feely, Kelleher, Bailey; Nevin, Nelson, Murray, Fitzpatrick; Lutz, Z Dunne; D Dunne

Possible starting lineup for Celtic:
