Richard Rios, playing in midfield for Palmeiras, has made a great impression in the Club World Cup. He also gained a lot of attention in the Copa America last year, playing for Colombia.

Inter, who were also at the Club World Cup in the US are looking at him as a potential option as per calciomercato.com.

The story of Rios is very interesting. Till 2018, the 2000-born player was playing futsal, where he impressed in the South American Under-20 Championship. Flamengo noticed him and gave him a trial and the player has not looked back since.

Palmeiras are well aware of his value and are trying to renew his contract with a €100m release clause. But at the same time, they recognise that Rios wants to play in Europe and thus it is believed that a €30m fee would be enough to get him out of Brazil.

It will hardly be easy for Inter though, given that Al Hilal and West Ham are both reportedly chasing the player.
