Chelsea goalkeeper coach Henrique Hilario has handed in his resignation to become the new England goalkeeping coach under Thomas Tuhcel, according to the Daily Telegraph.
It is claimed Hilario has decided to leave the Blues to work with ex-Chelsea boss Tuchel after the club made it clear they did not want him to job-share with England.
Tuchel, who starts as England head coach on January 1 on an 18-month contract, worked with Hilario during his time at Chelsea, where he won the Champions League.
Hilario's reported exit ends an 18-year association at Stamford Bridge, having joined as a goalkeeper in 2006 before taking up a coaching role upon his playing retirement.
It is claimed Chelsea are unlikely to replace the 49-year-old, given head coach Enzo Maresca has goalkeeping coach Michele De Bernardin and assistant Willy Caballero on his staff.
